Those of us that visit the Disney parks semi-frequently probably don’t even realize how much terminology we casually throw around. Words like “lands”, “cast members”, “fast passes”…they may be standard vernacular to us, but to newbies, it’s a whole not of nonsense.
Virtually every Disney park has the same basic layout: a main street, a central hub, and various themed lands. And while most parks have a few lands that are the same, there are some lands that can only be found in one place. Here is a list of every unique land in the six worldwide Disney resorts. (Note: this list only includes “Magic Kingdom” style parks, so unique parks like California Adventure or DisneySEA do not count.)
Sometimes we Disney fans are sticklers for nomenclature, and sometimes we thrown around terms so much they get a little confusing. Is a Disney park Walt Disney World, or is the Animal Kingdom?
Not two Disney parks are exactly the same. Each has distinct lands, rides, shows, restaurants, you name it. But did you know that every Disney park is actually a different size, too?
Our listeners ask us this question a lot: where do you get all your Disney news? Well, there are a few different (and official) places to get the latest & greatest info.
This week, we started out by playing a simple game: if restaurants had fast passes, which would you pick? And then of course, in true DisExplorers fashion, we derailed. Basically, this episode is just a long conversation about delicious Disney food!!!
