Sometimes we Disney fans are sticklers for nomenclature, and sometimes we thrown around terms so much they get a little confusing. Is a Disney park Walt Disney World, or is the Animal Kingdom?
Officially, Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and the other major Disney campuses are technically called “resorts”, while individual gated places like the Magic Kingdom or DisneySea are parks.
